Out & About collars are lightweight, waterproof, and easy to clean, just like all our equipment. They come with durable and lightweight black plastic buckles and metal details made of stainless steel.
We make the collars with adjustable sizes and offer them in several possible widths, but each collar is custom-made to fit your dog perfectly. That’s why we need the measurement of your dog’s neck circumference, as you have followed the instructions on the “Measurement Instructions” card. Please also check the recommended material widths on the “Recommended Sizes” card to ensure the perfect fit.

Materials and Maintenance
We make all our equipment with high-quality BioThane® material, which is produced in the USA through an ISO-certified process. It is strong, durable, and has a texture similar to leather. What makes it ideal for dog equipment is its water-resistant property and the fact that it doesn’t absorb odors.
BioThane® material is easy to clean – you just need to rinse it with water and a little soap, and it will be good as new. After washing, you can let it air dry or simply wipe it with a dry cloth – and it’s immediately dry!
The metal hardware we use for collars is made of stainless steel, which is also of high quality, durable, and resistant to all weather conditions, including exposure to saltwater.
The buckles on the collars are made of plastic – because they are practical and lightweight. If you are concerned about whether the plastic buckles are strong enough for large and strong dogs on a leash – we advise you to choose a harness instead of a collar, not only because of the buckles but also because pulling on a leash while wearing a collar can cause numerous physical injuries to a sensitive dog’s neck and internal organs.
