The Long & Safe long lines are particularly reliable due to their aluminum “twist lock” carabiner with a safety mechanism that will reassure even the most concerned dog guardians. In addition to providing extra leash security, its durability can withstand pressures of up to 400 kg while being incredibly lightweight.
The Long & Safe long lines are available in widths of 13mm or 16mm, and you can choose between lengths of 5m, 7m, or 10m. They are an excellent choice for medium and large dogs weighing between 11 kg and 40 kg.
Materials and Maintenance
We make all of our equipment with high-quality BioThane® material, manufactured in the USA through an ISO-certified process. It is strong and durable, with a feel similar to leather. What makes it perfect for dog gear is its water-resistant property and the fact that it doesn’t absorb odors.
BioThane® material is easy to clean – just rinse it with water and, if needed, a little soap, and it will be as good as new. After washing, you can let it air dry or simply wipe it with a dry cloth, and it will be dry immediately.
The carabiner on Long & Safe leashes is made of aluminum, making it very lightweight yet highly durable. Additionally, it has anti-corrosion properties, ensuring its longevity and performance over time.
